The barrel of Select Syrah from the San Juan wine-growing region is displayed in the glass in bright crimson. The first nose of the Barrel Select Syrah presents notes of blackcurrants, blackberries and blueberries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are accompanied by notes of cask ageing as well as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.

Vinification of the Finca Las Moras Barrel Select Syrah
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Syrah. Only first-class grape material was used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Finca Las Moras. In San Juan, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone soils. After the hand-picking, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation is then carried out in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Barrel Select Syrah is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barriques.
