Description
Aragosta is one of those wonderfully light and crisp Italian whites that would pair so well with the seafood dishes we love most (fried calamari and crab cakes, for example). Tonic aromas of peach, citrus and white flower emerge from the nose.
This white wine is produced using Vermentino di Sardegna DOC grapes. Best consumed the year after harvesting. Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.Aroma: Heady, balanced and well-expressed, with a fresh fragrance reminiscent of ripe apple. Palate: Dry without being bitter; fresh and lively; very well-orchestrated, with a well-calibrated, almond-rich backdrop; excellent persistence. Serving temperature: 10 – 12? C. Alcohol level: 11.5 – 12 % vol. Matching: A divine match for fish, particularly shellfish.
