Spier sources as many ingredients as possible from their farm and from friends of Spier: the local, small-scale suppliers who share their ethical ethos. The fruit, veg and herbs in their gardens grow without artificial fertiliser or pesticides. Their happy cows, pigs and chickens are reared on our certified organic pastures without growth hormones or routine antibiotics. The quality of their wines begins in the vineyard. Each site is carefully chosen to ensure a perfect match between terroir and varietal and lovingly stewarded to ensure an optimal harvest, year after year.

A juicy and well-rounded red with raspberry, plum and hints of vanilla spice, it?s also gorgeous with a cheese and charcuterie board or tomato soup.
Raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry aromas supported by black pepper and subtle oak spice lead to a well-balanced, medium-bodied style of wine with a smooth, velvety tannin.
